What We Believe
The Bible:
Affirming the inerrancy of the Bible, we declare it as the infallible Word of God, our ultimate authority for matters of faith and Christian living (II Timothy 3:15-17).
God:
We believe in one God, revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, fully divine and fully human, is the manifestation of God in the world (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; I Timothy 3:16).
Sin and Salvation:
Recognizing the universal reality of sin, we affirm salvation through grace by faith in Jesus Christ's atoning sacrifice (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9).
Gospel:
Our salvation is rooted in the gospel – the good news of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. We respond to this message through repentance and water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ and God fills us with His Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3-4).
Christian Living:
As followers of Christ, we are called to love God and others, leading lives of holiness and joyous worship. We embrace the supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 12:8-10) for the edification and empowerment of the Church.
The Church:
We believe in the universal Church, the body of Christ, composed of believers from every nation and culture. The local church is a vital expression of this body, serving as a community of faith, worship, and discipleship (Matthew 16:18; Hebrews 10:25).
Prayer:
Understanding the significance of prayer, we acknowledge it as a direct means of communication with God, seeking His guidance, intervention, and fellowship (Philippians 4:6-7; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
Sharing the Gospel:
Recognizing our responsibility as believers, we actively engage in sharing the gospel, both locally and globally, spreading the transformative message of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8).
Stewardship:
We embrace the principles of stewardship, acknowledging that all we have belongs to God. As faithful stewards, we manage our time, talents, and resources for His glory and the advancement of His kingdom (1 Corinthians 4:2; Matthew 25:14-30).
Future:
Anticipating the second coming of Jesus Christ, we affirm the future resurrection and judgment. The righteous will inherit eternal life, while the unrighteous will face eternal separation from God (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15).
